Founder & Managing Director

Neil is always a first draft for any backyard cricket team. That’s because he’s the guy who gets things done – determined, focused and committed to getting the best result for his team. He takes the same approach to supporting his clients, bringing strategic focus and creative ideas to every engineering challenge.

Neil started his engineering career working on Sea King helicopters as an aircraft engineer with the Royal Navy, simultaneously gaining a first-class honours degree in mechanical engineering from Portsmouth University. From there, he relocated to Australia and began his corporate career working on a number of Sydney’s iconic CBD sites. Before deciding to create his own company, Neil supported AT&T managing their Asia Pacific data centre real estate as Head of Engineering.

Neil is an active member of the Institute of Mechanical Engineers (ImechE) and Facility Management Australia (FMA).

Director of Finance and Risk

Gavin is a skilled financial controller and business partner with impeccable attention to detail, coupled with exceptional knowledge of financial systems and processes.

He has managed the financial operations across IT, Shared Services, Group Financial Reporting and Infrastructure divisions for leading APAC and global consumer goods and construction companies.

This diverse experience has given him an in-depth understanding of the financial practices that underpin successful businesses.

Gavin oversees Nutbrook’s financial operations, providing strategic counsel to the leadership team on its business management and ambitions for growth.

Director – Building Services, New South Wales

There aren’t many people who are as passionate about sustainability in the building services industry as Ron. After 15+ years managing building maintenance projects, he became all too familiar with the heavy footprint they can leave on the environment. This motivated him to seek out ways to help clients tread more lightly.

Ron has achieved a wide range of sustainability accreditation, including NABERS, CBD and Green Star, to ensure he’s highly qualified and informed when guiding clients toward more energy efficient and sustainable business practices.

Ron’s commitment to improving the efficiency of buildings extends beyond sustainability, with his reputation in the industry for being a safe pair of hands to direct capital planning, asset management, auditing, due diligence and much more.

Director – Building Services, Perth

A chartered electrical engineer for over 15 years in the building services sector, Jonathan has a reputation for delivering excellence in commercial, defence, retail, industrial and residential projects.

His experience includes multidiscipline and large-scale projects such as the Australian Federal Police New WA State Office, Liv Apartments, Parmelia Hilton Refurbishment, QT Hotel, Harrisdale Shopping Centre and Elizabeth Quay public open space.

Jonathan leads Nutbrook’s WA business, offering our clients the benefits of his experience in project management, electrical services, multi discipline project delivery, contract management and cost estimation.
Jonathan believes collaboration is critical to each project’s success. Clients who work with him can expect Jonathan to spend time listening to everyone’s requirements, sharing his knowledge to pinpoint the best solution.

Director – Building Services, Victoria

Craig is a true engineer at heart with a strong desire to tread softly. He enjoys finding technical solutions that save resources and lessen the environmental impact of our actions.

Having worked in the building and construction sector for over 22 years, he is a seasoned professional with expertise in design, implementation, commissioning, project management, team and business leadership, as well as infrastructure, systems, and building technology.

Craig has also been involved in planning and asset condition assessment during this time to enable forecasting of capital works and operational/maintenance budgets.

Craig will make sure that every effort is made to achieve a successful conclusion for all parties involved, regardless of the size or scope of a client’s requirement.
